Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in California to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, safe store environment in West Hills, CA.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent) and previous customer service experience. The role requires physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
