Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help create a great shopping experience at our Laredo store. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain a clean, safe environment while delivering friendly service.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in customer service. You should be able to lift 30–50 lbs, follow instructions, and communicate clearly while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and meet physical demands.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with staff and customers.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
