Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and organized.

Responsibilities include receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment. Prior customer service in retail is preferred; lifting 30–50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform extensive walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Keep store clean, restock bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, take out trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
