Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage sales transactions at the register, and help keep the store clean and organized.

This role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior retail or service experience is preferred. We offer part-time hours and a friendly, fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and general neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
