Job summary

Family Dollar in Huntington, TX is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage sales transactions at the register, and help keep the store clean, stocked, and presentable throughout your shift.

This part-time role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail or related environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked, clean, and presentable.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Uphold a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
