Job summary

Family Dollar in Havana, FL is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, keep shelves stocked, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires strong customer service skills, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the capacity to work at a busy retail pace. Part-time hours and casual labor expectations apply, with responsibilities including unloading trucks and stock replenishment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as described.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
