Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage sales at the register, stock merchandise, and maintain a clean, safe store environment while following store procedures.

This part-time role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior customer service experience is highly preferred. You will work in a fast-paced retail setting, delivering friendly service and supporting teamwork across store

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and be prepared for standing and walking for extended periods.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned*.
