Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Louisiana LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. This part‑time role emphasizes friendly service, efficient checkout, and reliable store upkeep across a busy retail environment.

You will assist customers, manage sales at the register, stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain a clean, safe store while following company procedures and respecting teammates and leaders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent movement and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
