Job summary

Dollar Tree in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers, operate the register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and welcoming. You will assist with questions, process transactions, and maintain a safe store environment.

This part-time role requires a high school diploma (preferred) and reliable, friendly communication. Previous retail experience helps, and you will receive benefits and development opportunities as part of our store team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, and lifting tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, and rest areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
