Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team in Phoenix. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage sales transactions at the register, and help keep the store clean and well-stocked.

You will work to deliver a positive, safe, and friendly shopping experience while following store procedures. This part-time role emphasizes excellent customer service, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Strong customer service, relationship management, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean, restock bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, take out trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
