Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience at our Whiteville, NC location. You will assist customers, handle sales transactions, and maintain store cleanliness and stock levels.

The role requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, strong customer service skills, and the ability to follow instructions. This is a part-time position with opportunities to support a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
