Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Georgia LLC in Pooler, GA is hiring a part-time Customer Service Associate to help deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, stock, and keep the store clean and safe.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior customer service in retail or similar. You’ll work at a cash register, unload shipments, stock shelves, and follow instructions while keeping customers engaged and satisfied.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or related environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Keep the store clean, restock bathrooms, and maintain neat areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
