Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Georgia LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock the store, and ensure a clean, safe environment for all visitors and staff.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Previous retail or service experience is preferred. Part-time hours available at our Americus location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks.
• Stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall neatness.
