Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Irvine, CA to provide mobile, unarmed patrol coverage for a retail and neighborhood setting. You will help deter incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver excellent customer service during scheduled afternoon/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drugs screen as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and tenants by carrying out security procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances calmly, documenting observations.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor for security concerns and report findings to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and provide directions and information while maintaining professionalism.
