Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for a shopping center in Irvine, CA. You will provide customer service, deter security issues, and maintain a visible presence to ensure a safe environment for guests, tenants, and staff. Position Type: Part Time / Swing Shift.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour. Schedule: DayTime Sat 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM; Sun 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM. Allied Universal promotes a caring culture with equal opportunity and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and customer service interactions accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
