Job summary

Smart & Final, part of the Chedraui USA family, is seeking a Part-Time Associate for the 932 San Diego location. You will deliver excellent customer service, assist with stocking, and help manage store operations in a fast-paced environment.

Starting rate of $17.75 per hour. The position reports to the Store Manager and includes duties such as stocking merchandise, operating the cash register, and maintaining sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Read and write English.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions and labels.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information to customers and coworkers.
• Apply common sense in following instructions.
• Regularly lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a store section, stock merchandise, and ensure proper pricing and rotation.
• Clean and sanitize interior and exterior areas as directed.
• Operate a cash register, handle payments, refunds, and alcohol verification.
• Assist customers and help with loading purchases when needed.
• Document lost/damaged goods and store supplies.
