Starting rate is $17.75 per hour, with responsibilities including inventory, pricing accuracy, and basic bookkeeping. The position requires the ability to lift up to 60 pounds, read and write English, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Read and write English; interact with public and coworkers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags.
• Write simple correspondence and present information clearly.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients and employees.
• Follow written or oral instructions and use common sense for tasks.
• Regularly lift/move up to 25–60 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a store section and stock merchandise with proper pricing.
• Operate cash register and handle payments, refunds, and alcohol-transaction checks.
• Assist customers and help load purchases into vehicles when needed.
• Contribute to sanitation and housekeeping of store areas and parking lot.
• Perform basic bookkeeping and inventory-related tasks.
