Job summary

Smart & Final, part of the Chedraui USA family, is seeking a Part-Time Associate for 440 Long Beach. You will stock merchandise, operate a cash register, assist customers, and uphold sanitation standards in a fast-paced store.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service to shoppers in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of reading and writing in English to follow instructions and communicate.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally as part of stocking duties.
• Friendly and courteous interactions with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a store section, stock merchandise, and ensure proper pricing.
• Operate a cash register and process payments, refunds, and checks as directed.
• Assist customers by providing product information and loading purchases as needed.
• Perform basic store housekeeping and sanitation per management guidelines.
• Record stock and keep records for store supplies.
