Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Team Member at the Overland Park South location in Kansas. You will assist customers, operate a fast checkout, and help with stocking to keep the store well-merchandised and in stock.

You’ll engage customers in the Rewards program, support Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, and follow SOPs. This role offers team-centric environment with employee discounts and benefits; must be 16+ and available nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stay standing for long periods and move about the store.
• A willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience; cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and enrollments; educate on VOC survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs).
• Maintain inventory via in-stock optimization and merchandise recovery.
