Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Holland, MI is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to deliver friendly customer service and assist with donations, pricing, and sales. You will operate the POS system, handle cash, and help maintain a clean, welcoming store environment.

Flexibility is required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. Training is provided and opportunities to grow retail and customer service skills are available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor with customers, donors, co-workers, leadership, and field personnel.
• Provide excellent customer service on the sales floor and donation area.
• Operate the Point-of-Sale system accurately and manage cash drawer.
• Implement store opening and closing procedures as assigned.
• Assist donors with donations and provide receipts.
• Sort, price, and prepare donated merchandise for sale.
