Job summary

CommunityAid in Selinsgrove, PA seeks a part-time Retail Associate to operate the sales floor, greet customers, handle cashiering, and keep racks full with merchandise.

You will work with flexibility under the Retail Supervisor, uphold our teamwork culture, deliver excellent service, and help maintain a clean, organized store environment while following company policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of six months retail experience in a service-oriented business helpful.
• Scheduling flexibility and evenings and weekend availability.
• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Basic math skills.
• Adherence to attendance and weekly hours expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, excellent customer service and ensure a great shopping experience.
• Engage customers to improve sales and deter theft.
• Assist with merchandising, replenishing stock, monitoring fitting rooms, and transporting merchandise to the sales floor.
• Understand products, current promotions, and sales practices to boost figures.
• Maintain a neat and organized work area and store environment.
• Follow tagging system and store layout as directed by management.
• Be flexible to perform tasks assigned by Management, including opening/closing duties.
