ABOUT THE POSITION

With over 430 retail stores worldwide, our associates are essential to our business. They ensure product availability, create visual displays, address customer inquiries, and run efficient checkouts, creating memorable customer experiences while supporting Columbia Sportswear Company's mission of "Connecting Active People with Their Passions."

As a Retail Associate, you will represent our Company, Brands, and products, serving customers and sharing product information. You will support the flow of products into the store, contribute to store profitability through accurate and efficient processes, and assist the Store Leadership team in fulfilling our mission.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

• Maintain store cleanliness, visual merchandising, and safety standards; restock merchandise from inventory.
• Perform cash register transactions accurately; promote loyalty programs.
• Support store profitability by processing products efficiently.
• Respond to customer questions about products and assist with buying decisions, supporting our values and teamwork.
• Acquire knowledge about products, policies, and procedures to execute daily operations.

YOU HAVE

• No specific education required; High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Up to 2 years of experience in retail or related fields.
• Experience interacting with and serving customers.
• Skill operating Inventory and POS systems and retail software tools.
• Age 16 or older.

JOB CONDITIONS

• Active environment requiring movement and physical activity, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Use of specialized equipment, exposure to dust and noise.
• Ability to communicate clearly.
• Flexible schedule, adaptable to seasonal and business trends, complying with all laws.
