Job summary

AvaMed Workforce is seeking a Part-Time Respiratory Therapist to provide patient care at a California correctional facility in Soledad. The schedule is 16 hours per week with two days, 7:30am-4:00pm, orientation for two weeks.

Compensation includes a $45/hr traveler rate ($720 weekly) or $40/hr local rate ($640 weekly) under W-2 terms. Must have at least one year of licensed professional experience in respiratory care.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• License in respiratory care required.
• Ability to work 16 hours per week at a correctional facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services per facility policies and procedures.
• Set up equipment and provide instructions for use of equipment for each patient.
• Perform patient evaluations and make appropriate treatment recommendations.
• Maintain daily charting and documentation.
