The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapist/Pulmonary Function Technologist to support the Foxboro Patriot Place PFT labs with cross-coverage at the Main Campus and satellite facilities.

This role performs Pulmonary Function Tests, ABG punctures, and related studies, ensuring accurate results and patient comfort. Responsibilities include policy support, lab scheduling, patient education, and participation in research projects.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts license as Respiratory Therapist required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential required.
• AS in Respiratory Therapy minimum; BS preferred.
• 1–3 years’ experience preferred; recent graduates considered.

Responsabilités

• Perform Pulmonary Function Tests and arterial blood gas punctures.
• Assist development/review of PFT Lab policies and procedures.
• Coordinate scheduling for PFT labs and satellite clinics.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain optimal test results.
• Provide educational material on device usage and participate in clinical research.
