Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive pediatric respiratory care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role requires applying advanced clinical expertise, performing diagnostic procedures, and ensuring patient safety in a high-quality setting.

The position involves collaborating with healthcare teams, educating patients and families, and supporting specialized interventions such as ECMO, ventilation, and sleep

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure and certification as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively within the healthcare team, document patient information, and participate in handoffs.
• Educate patients, families, and staff about respiratory treatments and procedures, utilizing diverse teaching methods.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures according to established guidelines, troubleshooting as needed.
• Demonstrate advanced skills supporting specialized interventions like ECMO, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, and sleep studies.
• Seek continuous learning, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
