Trinity Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II for a part-time, day-shift role with 12-hour shifts. The position focuses on providing safe, competent respiratory care per physician orders, with emphasis in specialty areas and critical care.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited two-year Respiratory Care program, NBRC RRT certification, California licensure, and current AHA CPR, ACLS, and PALS credentials. Pay range is $36.32 - $50.85 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a two year AMA accredited Respiratory Care Program or the equivalent training is required.
• RRT certification through the NBRC is required; CRT may be accepted in lieu.
• Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with the State of California is required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR,
• AHA ACLS certification is required.
• AHA PALS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care as ordered per physician.
• Monitor mechanical ventilation.
• Administer medications.
• Patient assessment.
• Understand ramifications of hemodynamic monitoring and blood work results.
• Monitor, teach, and train staff.
