PeaceHealth in Cottage Grove, OR is seeking a Part Time Respiratory Therapist (0.60 FTE) to support cardio-pulmonary care across diagnostic and critical care settings.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient assessment, ventilator management and participation in education and quality initiatives. Oregon RCP license, ACLS/BLS and RRT are required; NRP/PALS must be obtained within 3 months. Day shift with competitive benefits.

Formación

• Accredited Respiratory Care Program completion required.
• Minimum 2 years acute care experience preferred.
• Experience in pulmonary function lab preferred.
• ICU/Pediatrics/Obstetrics experience preferred.
• Oregon Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
• ACLS, BLS, and RRT required on hire/transfer.
• NRP and PALS certifications must be obtained within 3 months.

Responsabilidades

• Provide respiratory care including diagnostics, oxygen/med delivery, bronchial hygiene, ABG collection and analysis.
• Assess patients, monitor labs/hemodynamics, plan and evaluate care.
• Calibrate, clean, set up, maintain and troubleshoot equipment; manage supplies.
• Participate in in-house education, in-services and QA projects as directed.
• Assist in trauma, CPR and rapid response teams as needed.
• Manage ventilators and NPPV with evidence-based settings and changes.
• May rotate to ICU, PFT, or Sleep Lab to meet department needs.
