Job summary

SSM Health DePaul Hospital in St. Louis is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapist for the night SHIFT. The role provides evaluation and care for respiratory therapy patients, administering prescribed services, with 24 total hours per week across two 12-hour night shifts.

Requirements include MO Respiratory License, BLS HCP, CRT, and Missouri Respiratory Care Practitioner. Associate degree or equivalent is required. No prior experience is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient for appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develops a plan of care based on diagnosis.
• Provides respiratory care services in accordance with physician orders and department policies.
• Implements and monitors patient care plans and equipment; communicates patient condition.
• Evaluates respiratory medications and treatments based on outcomes.
• Educates patients and families about health conditions and community resources.
• Maintains equipment and inventories; adheres to cleaning and sterilization procedures.
