Job summary

Mr. Handyman in Racine County seeks a Home Improvement Estimator / Part-Time Field Technician to deliver accurate project scopes and high-quality customer service.

This role blends estimating with hands-on maintenance across residential and commercial projects, with a Monday–Friday dayshift schedule. You will survey sites, determine scope, and prepare material and labor estimates while guiding clients through requirements and timelines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of paid professional experience in trades/handyman work (carpentry, drywall, plumbing, and electrical).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work overhead or at heights when needed.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate customer inquiries via phone, email, or digital chat and prepare accurate estimates.
• Schedule and perform site surveys and essential field maintenance or repairs.
• Guide clients through scope, cost, and timeline while upholding the Mr. Handyman standard.
• Track estimates to close projects and sustain workflow.
