Job summary

United Cerebral Palsy Heartland is seeking compassionate and committed Residential Direct Care Professionals (DSPs) for the Oakville schedule in Saint Louis, MO. This part‑time role offers $21.00 per hour and requires weekend shifts, with 16 hours weekly, plus a training period at the corporate office.

As a DSP you will provide physical assistance with daily tasks, help with personal hygiene, lift and transfer clients, and support age-appropriate activities and community outings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Clean Driving Record and completion of drivers training.
• A minimum of one weekend shift per week.
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field.
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Able to interact with client's family and maintain professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical assistance with daily tasks and help with personal hygiene.
• Assist with ADLs, lifting and transferring (includes wheelchair transfers).
• Follow medical orders and administer medications as directed.
• Help with transportation and client activities, including community outings.
