Job summary

United Cerebral Palsy Heartland is seeking compassionate Residential Direct Care Professionals (DSPs) for a part-time shift in the Saint Louis, MO area. The role offers 21 hours per week with shifts Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at a rate of $21.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily tasks, personal care, activities, following medical orders, and administering medications. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Clean driving record and driver training completed.
• Minimum one weekend shift per weekend.
• Experience with disabilities or customer service preferred.
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical assistance with daily tasks, assist with personal hygiene and facilitate activities.
• Follow medical orders and administer medications.
• Provide choices to clients for daily activities to enable entertainment and community outings.
