Job summary

United Cerebral Palsy Heartland is hiring a Residential Direct Care Provider (DSP) in Olivette, MO. This part-time role offers weekend hours (Sun 3 PM–8 PM, Tue 3 PM–8 PM) totaling 10 hours weekly at $21/hour.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily tasks, hygiene, activities, and following medical orders including medication administration. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a clean driving record, and be willing to train 5–7 days at the corporate office.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or GED.
• Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training.
• A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND SHIFT PER WEEKEND.
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field.
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• THIS POSITION DOES REQUIRE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION, VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE WITH CLEAN DRIVING RECORD!
• THIS POSITION REQUIRES 5-7 DAYS OF MANDATORY TRAINING AT OUR CORPORATE OFFICE Monday through Friday 8:45 AM - 4:30PM

Responsibilities

• Provide physical assistance with daily tasks, assist with personal hygiene and facilitate fun activities.
• Follow medical orders and administer medications.
• Most importantly, provide choices to the clients for their daily activities to provide entertainment and community outings.
