Job summary

Community Resources For Justice, Inc. in Carver, MA is seeking a Residential Counselor to support individuals in our community-based programs. This part-time role offers a starting rate of $18 per hour and will involve First/Second shifts.

You will supervise and transport clients, teach new skills aligned with the Individual Service Plan, model positive behavior, and document progress and medications as required. This position provides valuable training and opportunities for growth within CRJ.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver’s license is required.
• Desire to make a genuine difference in the lives of others.
• Must pass required certifications within the agency timeframe.
• Must pass a criminal and driver’s check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours; this may include job interviews, medical appointments, weekly recreation, religious services, and shopping trips.
• Support and teach clients new skills including, but not limited to, specific goals in the clients’ Individual Service Plan.
• Acting as a positive role model for the client to support attaining the highest quality of life while maintaining their safety in all settings.
• Administering medications and completing appropriate documentation in a timely manner, such as progress notes, weekly summaries, and attendance.
