Job summary

Community Resources for Justice (CRJ) is seeking Residential Counselors to join our Worcester, MA team. This full-time, 40-hour per week, non-exempt role starts at $18 per hour and includes benefits eligibility.

You’ll support individuals served through supervision, transportation, and daily activities, while upholding safety and quality of life. We provide training and opportunities for career advancement within CRJ's four core service areas, with first/second shifts available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass required certifications within the time set by the agency.
• Must pass a criminal and driver’s check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours; this may include job interviews, medical appointments, weekly recreation, religious services, and shopping trips.
• Support and teach clients new skills including, but not limited to, specific goals in the clients’ Individual Service Plan.
• Acting as a positive role model for the client to support attaining the highest quality of life while maintaining their safety in all settings.
• Administering medications and completing appropriate documentation in a timely manner, such as progress notes, weekly summaries, and attendance.
