Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Activity Director Certification required.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive activity program tailored to residents' interests and needs.
• Develop and maintain monthly activity calendars including group activities and outings.
• Encourage resident participation in activities and recreational programs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support care plans and activity assessments.
• Maintain accurate activity documentation including progress notes and records.
• Foster communication with residents, families, staff, and community organizations.
• Assist with transportation arrangements for outings and events when needed.
• Stay current with federal, state, and local regulations governing activity programs.
