Job summary

The Waters is seeking a Part-time Transportation/Facility Bus Driver to ensure safe transit for residents under the guidance of the Transportation Director. You will operate campus shuttles and vans, complete logs, and adhere to federal and state regulations and facility policies.

Responsibilities include driver training, maintaining a neat appearance, reporting to schedule, and coordinating with the transportation coordinator to arrange resident and staff transportation during shifts.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED; CPR certified; CNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive instruction/training before operating bus/van.
• Maintain a pleasant, professional appearance.
• Report to work as scheduled.
• Attend all mandatory meetings.
• Transport residents/staff as required during shift.
• Coordinate with transportation coordinator for outside appointments.
• Arrange supervision of residents if family unavailable.
• Maintain a mileage/trip log.
• File monthly mileage logs.
• Maintain bus/van appearance and daily checks.
• Ensure passengers are safely seated.
• Obey speed limits and road signs.
• Report and correct safety violations.
• Complete bus/van log daily; submit monthly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Director or Administrator.
