Water’s Edge of Lake Wales is seeking a Part-Time Driver to transport residents to medical appointments and activities in a safe, caring manner.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and excellent communication with residents and staff. You will assist with boarding, maintain vehicle safety, and keep trip records, while working a flexible schedule that may include weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle residents with compassion and patience.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including some weekends.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate vehicles safely and responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and other scheduled activities.
• Assist residents with boarding and disembarking from vehicles as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, including regular inspections and reporting any issues.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of trips and mileage.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and management to coordinate transportation needs.
