Job summary

Apartment Life in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a part-time, offsite Events and Ministry Coordinator to plan and execute resident services programs for one community. The role requires evenings and weekend availability and pays $21 per hour for 8 hours per week.

You will coordinate with the supervisor to schedule events, host 2–3 monthly activities, and build resource lists for rent and food assistance. Strong communication and transportation are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Be legally eligible to work in the United States
• Bachelor's Degree or related experience in event planning, social impact, or human services
• Excellent listening/communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to provide after-hours or weekend activities as needed
• Basic computer skills
• Possess a current driver's license and liability insurance, and access to a form of reliable transportation
• Be physically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and carry up to 25 pounds
• Availability to commit weekly hours, mainly evenings and weekends
• Be able to make the minimum term commitment to serving in the apartment community

Responsibilities

• Plan and host 2-3 events/workshops each month to promote social engagement, wellness, health, enrichment, and stability.
• Work with corporate, government, and nonprofit partners to create programs that fit each community's needs.
• Organize and host educational workshops for adults and youth
• Meet with residents to provide support and connect them with resources
• Share information about rental, food, and other assistance programs
• Overall all activities to ensure they run smoothly
• Communicate regularly with onsite staff
• Meet weekly with your supervisor to review program and goals
• Submit monthly reports on activities and impact
