Job summary

Apartment Life in Dallas (Oak Cliff) seeks an Events and Ministry Coordinator (Offsite, Part-Time) to execute the community service plan and coordinate resident programs.

You will work with your supervisor to schedule monthly events, host workshops for adults and families, and connect residents with local resources. Hours total 8 per week at $21/hour; afternoons, evenings, and weekends required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related experience in event planning, social impact, or human services
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Ability to work afternoons, evenings and weekends
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Have access to reliable transportation to complete duties

Responsibilities

• Work with corporate, government, and nonprofit partners to create programs that fit each community's needs
• Organize and host educational workshops for adults and youth
• Meet with residents to provide support and connect them with resources
• Share information about rental, food, and other assistance programs
• Coordinate activities to ensure they run smoothly
• Communicate regularly with onsite staff
• Meet weekly with supervisor to review program and goals
• Submit monthly reports on activities and impact
