Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Shelton, CT is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver high-quality care in a warm, home-like environment. As a CNA you will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health, and communicate changes to the care team.

You will document care, support residents emotionally, engage them in activities, and apply strong customer service to ensure dignity and comfort. Licensing requirements include CNA/HHA/LNA certification.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Document care provided and report changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care
• Other duties as needed
