Job summary

Brio Living Services is seeking a part-time Resident Care Assistant for Chelsea, MI. You will provide essential daily care, companionship, and a welcoming environment for residents, with a schedule of 16 hours/week and weekend/holiday rotation.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; caregiving experience is preferred. You must be able to lift up to 35 lbs and have EMAR knowledge preferred. Benefits and shift premiums apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a direct caregiving role preferred but not required.
• Must be able to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to a minimum of 35 lbs.
• Previous working knowledge of EMAR system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Hands-On Care – Assist with personal care (ADLS) like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support Mealtime – Help residents enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health.
• Keep Things Moving – Support mobility, including turning, positioning, and safe transfers.
• Perform Vital Checks – Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
• Maintain Comfort & Care – Keep rooms tidy, cozy, and well-stocked with essentials.
• Provide Responsive Support – Answer call lights quickly and respond with kindness and compassion.
• Monitor with Watchful Eyes – Report any changes in conditions to the leadership ASAP.
• Demonstrate Respect & Professionalism – Maintain confidentiality while delivering top-notch care.
