Why Mennonite Village?

At Mennonite Village, relationships come first, starting with our team. You'll join a collaborative, values-based organization dedicated to serving older adults with dignity and respect.

As a Resident Assistant, you'll be supported, trained, and valued as an essential member of our care community. Whether you're starting your caregiving career or bringing prior experience, we invest in your success from day one.

What You'll Do

As a Resident Assistant, you'll provide hands‑on, resident‑centered care that supports dignity, independence, and quality of life. Your day may include:

  • Supporting residents with meals, hydration, and nutrition
  • Encouraging participation in activities and meaningful daily engagement
  • Accurately documenting care provided and observations before the end of your shift
  • Following all safety, infection control, and resident rights standards

This role includes hands‑on care and physical activity throughout the shift, including standing, walking, assisting with transfers, and responding to resident needs. You'll work in a senior living healthcare setting that may include assisted living and memory care, with varying shifts to support 24/7 resident care.

You'll never be expected to do this alone-teamwork and communication are key to how we care for residents and each other.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and takes pride in showing up each day ready to support residents and teammates alike.
