Job summary

Harvard Business School seeks a part-time Research Associate (20 hours/week) to support case writing and course development for the spring 2027 Business Analysis and Valuation elective. The role reports to faculty supervisors and the Research Staff Services office, with independence and intellectual curiosity required.

Ideal candidates have a strong knowledge of core accounting principles, excellent writing skills, and the ability to balance multiple tasks under tight deadlines in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a GPA above 3.5 is required.
• Ability to read academic information and write a reasoned analysis.
• Strong writing skills and ability to conduct interviews and research are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work under the general direction of HBS faculty on topics central to the research agenda.
• Write cases, case supplements, project reports, and drafts for a book project.
• Build trust and collaboration by being present on-site and engaging with colleagues.
