Job summary

The Kamal laboratory within the Center of Orthopedic Research and Translational Science at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA is hiring for a part-time temporary position. The successful candidate will work up to 20 hours per week and contribute to basic histology and molecular biology tasks, including microtomy and immunohistochemistry, with additional credit for dissection and related techniques.

Experience with PCR, western blotting, and basic cell culture is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with basic microtome sectioning and immunohistochemistry.
• Experience with animal dissection and basic molecular biology techniques (PCR, western blotting) is a plus.
• Proficiency in basic cell culture is a bonus.
