The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene seeks a part-time Research Project Manager III for the Sober/Recovery Housing project within the PTR Division of the Department of Psychiatry at New York State Psychiatry Institute. You will coordinate tasks, train staff, and provide technical assistance for SAMHSA-funded activities.

Responsibilities include regional environmental scanning, stakeholder outreach, curriculum adaptation, and regional training workshops, with a focus on implementation

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a social/behavioral science or health-related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of training or technical assistance experience in behavioral health.
• Minimum 2 years of knowledge in best practices for treating substance use disorders.
• Minimum 1 year knowledge of the recovery housing model.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all activities related to the supplemental funding and work with the Project Director to ensure timely task completion.
• Lead a regional environmental scan assessing recovery housing capacity and needs in the region.
• Outreach with regional stakeholders including SSAs, RCOs, and recovery housing operators.
• Serve as liaison between ATTC regional and the National Alliance for Recovery Residences.
• Lead adaptation of curricula for regional application and contribute to curriculum development.
• Facilitate regional training workshops on recovery housing topics.
• Coordinate technical assistance for expansion of recovery housing regionally.
• Support development and delivery of a regionally-focused Learning Collaborative.
• Assist the Project Director with other project-related duties.
