Job summary

The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. (RFMH) seeks a part-time Research Assistant VII to assist with a study on substance use treatment adequacy among formerly incarcerated individuals in the NYC area.

Under supervision, you will help with recruitment, subject tracking, field procedures, and specimen collection, with daytime/evening hours as needed. You will join a multidisciplinary team, handling data collection, schedules, and administrative tasks, contributing to study progress and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, public health, criminal justice, or related field with at least 1 year of research experience.
• Interest in working with adults with legal system engagement or substance use disorders.
• Prior research experience.
• Availability for some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with subject recruitment and tracking, including collection of biological specimens.
• Monitor field work activities and maintain schedules.
• Support recruitment and retention efforts across waves.
• Help develop study questionnaires and assist in manuscript preparation.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed.
