The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate for a part-time Research Project Manager III position in the Pathophysiology & Treatment Research Division of the New York State Psychiatric Institute.

The role involves project coordination, staff training, and technical assistance for the SAMHSA-funded Sober/Recovery Housing supplement, with a focus on regional activities. The position supports coordinating outreach with state authorities and recovery housing

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a Social/Behavioral Science or health-related field.
• At least 2 years of experience providing training or TA to the behavioral health workforce.
• At least 2 years of knowledge of best practices for the treatment of substance use disorders.
• At least 1 year of knowledge pertaining to the recovery housing model.
• Preferred MPH or MSW; experience navigating housing challenges for people with SUDs.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all activities related to the supplemental funding as project coordinator.
• Lead regional environmental scan of recovery housing capacity in HHS Region 2.
• Lead outreach with regional stakeholders including SSAs and RCOs.
• Serve as liaison between ATTC regional and the National Alliance for Recovery Residences.
• Adapt national recovery housing curricula for regional use.
• Contribute to curriculum development and regional Learning Collaborative.
• Facilitate regional training workshops on recovery housing topics.
• Coordinate regionally-based technical assistance for expansion of recovery housing.
• Support the Project Director and other duties as needed.
