Job summary

The University of Minnesota School of Nursing seeks a Research Professional 4 for 0.75 FTE to provide project management leadership for two NIH-funded nutrition/public health studies. This role oversees start-up through close-out, multi-site IRB, collaborations, timelines, and regulatory reporting, as well as staff training and dissemination of results.

You will coordinate budgets, supervise staff, and liaise with community sites and health partners to ensure milestones and high-quality data.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree plus at least five years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree plus at least three years of relevant experience, or total experience of at least nine years.
• Project management experience in nutrition and/or public health.
• Experience collaborating with community and health care system partners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management from startup through close-out for NIH-funded studies.
• Coordinate IRB processes across multiple sites and institutions.
• Manage timelines, budgets, staff training, and regulatory reporting.
• Liaise with community sites and partners to ensure milestones and data quality.
• Disseminate findings via manuscripts, presentations, and posters.
