Job summary

The University of Minnesota School of Nursing is seeking a 0.75 FTE Research Professional 4 to lead project management for two NIH-funded nutrition/public health studies. The role oversees start-up through close-out, IRB coordination, multi-site collaboration, timelines, and dissemination of findings.

As primary liaison across sites and partners, you will direct study protocols, manage budgets, train staff, and support manuscript preparation while ensuring compliance and data integrity.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree plus at least five years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree plus at least three years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant work experience totaling at least nine years.
• Project management experience in nutrition and/or public health.
• Experience collaborating with community and health care system partners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement research protocols with study timelines and resource plans.
• Coordinate cross-institution teams and manage data collection with community sites.
• Oversee multi-site IRB processes, regulatory reporting, and manuscript dissemination.
