Job summary

The Sciamanna Lab at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA is seeking a part-time Research Support staff member to recruit study subjects, conduct in-person and virtual assessments, and maintain study records. This role supports NIH and PCORI-funded projects and collaborates with the study team to ensure protocol adherence.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating community-based research is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• No college degree required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit subjects and describe study procedures, risks, benefits, and eligibility requirements.
• Schedule and/or complete in-person data collection assessments.
• Maintain participant database and Sciamanna laboratory supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate with Principal Investigator and Human Subjects Protection Office.
• Interface with support departments involved in protocols, study start-up, recruitment, and close-out.
